Seal Coating

Despite its appearance asphalt is a porous substance, susceptible to damage by rain, ice, sunlight and chemicals such as fuel oil and gasoline. Left unprotected, an asphalt driveway or parking area will fade, soften and pit (especially where it is exposed to gasoline and motor oil), and eventually crumble, requiring major repair.  Rowles Asphalt offers the latest emulsion seal coats (coal tar or special blends), these are surface treatments and should be reapplied every 2-3 years by squeegee or spray application.
